Hospices are invited to write and request donations for their various needs and support.
Our criteria for hospices applying for a donation is set out below.
Our aim is to is to donate in areas where funding is not available from other sources. Our main reason for this is simply because we want hospices to benefit completely from our donations as we do not want to have a situation where other organisations turn hospices down for funding because we have already donated. We aim to fill the gap, and donate in the areas that would otherwise mean hospices going without.
We would prefer not to fund areas that are already covered by other organisations.
Hospice Aid UK especially like to donate in areas that will directly improve the quality of the patientís comfort and well being and also that of their close relatives.
We like to donate in any area where the hospice is having difficulty finding funding from any other source.
We would be less likely to consider core funding.
However any application that does not meet with the above criteria will still be looked at and considered.
